Bavarian TV station BR broadcast news on the emerging market of SiC wafers for power electronics

On December 9th, 2021 the Bavarian TV station BR (regional branch of the First German TV station ARD) broadcasted in their news a 3 minutes video on the emerging market of SiC wafers for power electronics.
Starting with an interview of the SiC wafer manufacturer SiCrystal located in Nuremberg (Germany) it was highlighted in which dramatic speed the SiC wafer production is currently expanding.
In addition, as an independent and neutral voice, an interview of the successful R&D work on bulk growth of SiC materials at the Crystal Growth Lab @FAU (Prof. Wellmann, University of Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany) was shown.
